What does Viral Contest do?

It is a WordPress plugin for running giveaways: create contests in admin, publish a public contest page, collect entrants through entry actions, pick winners, and email prizes.

How do visitors enter a contest?

They open the contest landing (full page, popover, or popup), sign up with their details, then complete entry actions to earn points.

Which entry methods are supported?

How are winners chosen?

From the entrants screen you can pick winners weighted by points — more completed actions mean a higher chance. Optionally show winners on the contest page after the event ends.

Can I email winners from the plugin?

Yes. After winners are picked, open the notify action on the entrants screen to send a prize email. You can edit the message and optionally use AI rewrite if an OpenAI key is saved in Integrations.

How do I get a member account?

Accounts are invite-only. After you purchase a plan, the site admin sends you a registration link. Existing members can log in from the Login page.
